Sébastien Kindt is staff member of the department of gastroenterology and hepatology of the UZ Brussel since 2019. He focuses on disorders of brain-gut interactions. He is in charge of the function lab.
Sébastien Kindt received his training in UZ Leuven. Before joiing UZ Brussel, he was active as consulting physician in UZ Leuven and let in UZ Gent. He is the main author of the Belgian consensus on irritable bowel syndrome, as well as different medical articles focusing on brain-gut interactions.
He is the president of the BSNM. He is also member of VVGE, Eureos, ESNM, BSGIE and ESGE. He participates in different clinical trials as principle investigator.
