Since its founding, the Belgian Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (BSNM) believed it opportune to invest in all aspects of neurogastroenterology and motility. Its main objectives can be summarised into three domains:
Design protocols for collaborative studies
Promote research in neurogastroenterology and motility
Create funding to help support research studies and other incentives related to neurogastroenterology and motility
Organise training in the domain of neurogastroenterology and motility
Create collaborative opportunities between experts in neurogastroenterolgy and other healthcare workers
Improve awareness on neurogastroenterology in the general public and belanghebbenden in de gezondheidszorg
Create collaborative opportunities with patient organisations

Gastroenterologist in AZ Sint Lucas and consultant in UZ Leuven with a special interest in neurogastroenterology.
